Knitting Blues

Finished my crochet hat today! My knitting teacher helped me put the finishing touches on it, sewed in the ends, and blocked it into shape with a steam iron. The pattern is different on both sides.

And then she said I'm ready to start my cable and double seed vest, but my clumsy hands kept proving her wrong. I can't even get the seed pattern right! It's just a simple knit and purl, for heaven's sake. Okay, I really need more practice. Gonna bring my knitting needles with me to Penghu tomorrow. See if I can get the pattern down right. :D
